Sherman Health Supports Go Red for Women, February 5

Elgin, Ill. - In conjunction with the American Heart Association (AHA), Sherman Health encourages the community to "Go Red for Women" by wearing red on Friday, February 5. Go Red for Women is a national movement to help fight back against the number one killer of women - heart disease.

You can support the fight by wearing your favorite red clothes or accessories on February 5 - a red blouse, a red sweater, a red dress pin, a fabulous red handbag - put on red lipstick, or sport a red tie and red socks.

During February, Sherman will also support Go Red for Women by selling red dress pins in the Sherman Hospital Tree House Gift Shop for $2 (all proceeds support the AHA), and a variety of red treats, including red dress cookies, at the Sherman Perk.
